Why do we circle around god in temples?

The word "ప్రదక్షిణ" itself gives the reason for circling around god in temples. Each letter in the word has its own meaning.
ప్ర - Ruin our Sins
ద - Fulfill our desiresక్షి - Bless with a good birth in the next lifeణ - Dispel ignorance and bless us with self-awareness

This much sense is involved in the circle that we make in temples. Lord Vinayaka has circled around his parents and has benefited for the faith he had in circling around his parents. Hence circling around god resembles a circle made around the universe and a spiritual circle.
Oh God! I pray for you from all sides concentrating on you.

"భగవంతుడా! నేను అన్ని వైపుల నుంచి నిన్నే అనుసరిస్తూ ధ్యానిస్తున్నానని అర్ధం"

Why are coconuts broken in-front of God or in temple?

While praying to any god or during homams or yagas or during some eves its a must to break coconut. The shell of coconut is like our arrogance. When a coconut is broken infront of god, it means that we're leaving our arrogance/pride and come to god with a clean and clear heart just like the white coconut seen inside and now pray for a serene life. In the entire world, coconut is the only one with liquid inside.

Coconut compared to human body:

  • Skin on the coconut is skin on our body
  • Fiber is the flesh in our body
  • Shard is bone
  • Coconut is ore of our body
  • Coconut water is the Vitalize and
  • The three eyes on the coconut are the 3 nerves IDA, PINGALLI and SUJAMNA
