Why should we sit in temple premises after lord Darshan
Have you ever got this doubt about this old long backing tradition? Why should you sit for a while in temple premises after Darshan.
Its because that we come to temple to offer our prayers to the god which is to be done in peace and without any rush. So once you are done with your darshan, take some time to sit and relax and be in peace.

It is for your calm and peaceful mind and for your good. Its at this time that we are given time to think of everything with a peaceful and calm mind; assess whats good and whats bad; get into thoughts of whats correct and whats wrong. Thus we get a chance to fine tune your daily life thus driving you in the right way.

Why should you get Setagopyam (శఠగోపనం) placed on your head in Temples?
It is a must to get the liquid prasadam (తీర్ధం) and Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం) once you have offered your prayers to the god. Many devotees either in hurry or in a thought to sit in an isolated place ignore taking the Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం).
Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం) means highest secrecy which wont even be heard by the priest, who places the Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం).
That is your desire is the Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం). So never forget or ignore or miss taking the Satagopyam (శఠగోపనం).
Also the other word is that, bending our head infront of god and take a oath to stay away from those 6 human enemies LUST "కామం", CRYPTOGRAPHIC AGILITY "క్రోధం", CUPIDIY "లోభము", FASCINATION "మోహం", INCH "మదం", "మాత్సర్యం".
