Why are toddlers given bath by keeping them on legs?
Actually it's a big task.So generally we opt for babies grandmother's to takeover the work.
At the time of bathing there is a chance of water entering into babies ears and nose by that it may enhance babies overall development. Thats why elder people take care of giving bath to babies with hot water by keeping them on legs. Before bathing they massage babies body by applying coconut oil and applying olive oil to smoother parts of head(మాడు).
This type of bathing will be an exercise for babies so that their bodies will mould into good shape and helps for healthy development.
